The Jericho Jr. Hawks, a U6 travel soccer team, have been training and playing together for a year. They first formed for a Father's Day tournament in 2004 when they were PRE-K, a yr. younger than their rivals. They were shut out in all three games (a combined score of 20-0) but enjoyed the experience and had a wonderful time competing and trading patches. They came together again for a Columbus Day 2004 tournament a little older and now playing against kids their own age, they came in second place and received their first trophies.

This winter they competed as a U6 team in the Coastal Indoor Soccer League that took place at Skate Safe. The Jericho Jr. Hawks capped off a perfect 8-0 season. A thrilling 3-2 victory over the previously undefeated Syosset Strikers decided their fate as they won first place in their division.

After the game, the team, Zachary Caspe, Jason Marshall, Todd Perlman, Jared Levy, Jason Bortnick, Noah Greenbaum, Hunter Principe and Tyler Blitz, went out for a celebratory breakfast.
