For the second time in its long history, three of Buckley's soccer teams were undefeated in the same season: both the boys' and girls' seventh- and eighth-grade "A" teams and the girls' fifth- and sixth-grade "A" team.

Buckley Country Day School's boys' seventh- and eighth-grade "A" team enjoyed an incredibly successful fall season. With a record of 6-0, the team outscored its opponents, 21-8. To unite their individual skills, the players brought focus and passion to every practice. Captained by goalie Matthew Goldstein and sweeper James Gibaldi, the squad displayed fluid teamwork and unfailing sportsmanship. Donald Denihan, Reese Mozer, Matthew Freeman, and MVP stopper Jeffrey Giocondi helped anchor the stalwart defense. On offense, striker Jeremy Koufakis netted 10 goals for the Bulldogs, while wingmen Sena Harlley, 5, William Chu, 1, and Gunnar Esiason directed the attack. Sam Gussack and Leo Gussack contributed 3 and 2 goals, respectively, and together with Michael Ioannou and J.D. Dieterich, controlled the pace of the game from the midfield.

Buckley's seventh- and eighth-grade girls' team was also undefeated. The offensive line scored 19 goals, and the defense held the opponents to just 9 goals. Scoring for the team this season were Alissa Fromkin with 8 goals, Haley Gahan, 4, Jessica Nees, 3, Sydney Esiason, 2, and Laura Wilsusen and Kelsey Gibson with 1 apiece. The goalies Shanelle Gayle and Kelsey Gibson did a superb job in preventing opponents from scoring. Defensive players Laura Wilsusen, Brittany Elias, Nina Kucharczyk, Amy Yao, and Kelly Sutherland took pride in creating a tough line to penetrate offensively. Other players who shared both offensive and defensive responsibilities were Haley Gahan, Sydney Esiason, Maggie Law, Hannah Duane, Charlotte Otremba, Kelsey Gibson, Saba Vahdat, and Talar Keskinyan.

The girls' fifth and sixth grade "A" team played to an undefeated season and extended that record to four years in a row. They were also successful in keeping their opponents scoreless this fall. The defensive players were Kate Phillips, Allyson Arnone, and Dina Homayuni. Augusta Gahan played the sweeper position. Goalies were Correy Denihan, Devon Denihan, and Ianna Wechter. Playing the midfield were Courtney Naughton, Devon Denihan, Kelsey Denihan, Lauren Singer, Kelly Bershader, and Shoshana Powell. Lauren Nathan, Briana Smith, Chloe Tsiames, and Kirsten Loscalso all played the forward positions.
