Syosset Chamber of Commerce Installs New Officers

The Syosset Chamber of Commerce held their seventh annual installation dinner on Feb. 10 at the Woodbury Country Club to install the officers and directors for 2005.

Offers who were installed include James Tinnelly, president; Michael Biggiani, Esq. First vice president; Chris Coschignano, Esq. Second vice president; Thomas Dunn, secretary and Stephen Rothmaler, treasurer.

Directors who were installed include Kevin Allison, Maria Anderson, William Chabina, Warren Church, Steven Cohen, Esq., Mike Devine, Jo Costa, Lee Schwartz, Esq., Tricia Shannon, Lisa Predmore, Philip Rhoads, Steven Ross, Sofi Kaufman and Michael Siciliano.

Past president Jerry Siegel and Frank Urso and honorary directors Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, Jack Biondo and Sal Biondo were also recognized. Senator Marcellino, Supervisor Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto, Legislator Judy Jacobs and Councilman Chris Coschignano were all recognized by the Chamber for their consistent service to the community.

Guests started the evening with cocktails, food and a silent auction at the well-attended installation dinner. Mike Devine, Dinner chairman, and Jim Tinnelly, chamber president, then welcomed guests. Awards were presented by past directors, Senator Carl Marcellino and Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto.

Special Service awards were also presented. The spirit of Syosset award was presented to Mike Devine and Kevin Allison. The community service person of the year was presented to Warren Church. The Director of the Year award was presented to William J. Chabina, Jr. and the Chamber Person of the Year award was presented to Michael Biggiani, Esq.
