Sign-up continues for the 2005 spring season of SYAC Girls Softball in Syosset.

All girls in grades two through eight must attend one sign up/evaluation session. Girls should bring their softball glove, and parents should bring cash or a check for $85 for the spring season. All evaluation sessions are at H.B. Thompson Middle School in Syosset. Sign up first in the cafeteria before going to the gym.

Girls in kindergarten and grade one (Instructional League) need not attend a sign up/evaluation session. Registration forms have been mailed to homes of girls in this age group and also have been handed out at schools. Information and a sign-up form can be downloaded at www.syacgs.org.

Girls in the Pony League (grades two-three) should attend on Monday, Jan. 24, between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Girls in the Senior League (grades six-seven-eight) and Junior League (grades four-five) had sign-up nights in early January. Anyone who missed those dates can attend on Jan. 24 or come to a last chance sign-up on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. On the latter date go directly to the H.B. Thompson Auxiliary Gym.
