Sign-up continues for the 2005 spring season of SYAC Girls Softball in Syosset. All girls in grades 2 through 8 must attend one sign up/evaluation session. Girls should bring their softball glove, and parents should bring cash or a check for $85 for the spring season. All evaluation sessions are at H.B. Thompson Middle School in Syosset. Sign up first in the cafeteria before going to the gym.

Girls in kindergarten and grade 1 need not attend a sign up/evaluation session. Registration forms are being mailed to homes of girls in this age group and also are being handed out at schools. Information and a sign-up form can be downloaded at www.syacgs.org.

Girls in the Junior League (grades 4-5) should attend on Monday, Jan. 10, between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Girls in the Pony League (grades 2-3) should attend on Monday, Jan. 24, between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Girls in the Senior League (grades 6-7-8) had sign up on Jan. 6. Anyone who missed that date can attend another night.

A last chance sign-up is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. - noon. On this date go directly to the H.B. Thompson Auxiliary Gym.
