Recently, Nassau County Department of Assessment mailed tax impact disclosure notices outlining these proposed tax increases slated for the October 2006 tax bill.

Rain didn't stop an estimated 500 residents from gathering outside of the former Cerro Wire Site on Robbins Lane in Syosset on Saturday to push the Oyster Bay Town Board to pass a building moratorium on the Robbins Lane corridor.
Team One - A Championship Season
In a very exciting, end-to-end game Team One defeated Team Five 1-0 to win the Jericho Girls fourth/fifth-Grade Championship Game. The two teams had met once during the regular season, playing to a hard-fought 0-0 tie in early October. Team Five was undefeated coming into the game and Team One had not lost since opening day and had given up just three goals since their opening day defeat.
Jericho High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team Shares 2004 Class 'A' New York State Championship
The 2004 Jericho High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team and Section III champ New Hartford earned the Class 'A' New York State co-championship after playing for 110 minutes to a 1-1 draw on Sunday, Nov. 21 at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, NY. Jericho defeated Wallkill 1-0 on Saturday, Nov.20, in the state semifinals, which qualified them to advance to the championship match against New Hartford. The game ended after four overtimes and without penalty kicks, which are used only to settle advancement. This is Jericho's first state team championship and second straight final four appearance.
