    On what started out as a dreary day in Levittown, the Jericho Jay Sox swept a doubleheader 13-1, and 10-1. By games end, the sunshine had broken through the clouds, and the Jay Sox found themselves in first place (7-3), in the highly competitive National Junior Baseball League. FULL STORY

  • Sports: SYAC Xtreme and Syosset Cyclones Notch Victories

    Syosset travel softball teams claimed victories in games played October 10 in the Wesco ASA Softball League. The U12 SYAC Xtreme split two games with Three Villages on the latter's home turf, and both games were seesaw thrillers. The Xtreme dropped the first game 14-13 in an extra-inning tiebreaker, then powered their way to a 14-9 win in the second game. FULL STORY
