    Sidikman's ability was challenged last month when Chuck Lavine, a councilman for the City of Glen Cove, announced his candidacy for the 13th Assembly District, forcing a primary to determine the Democratic candidate.     As Grandparents as Caregivers, a part of the Jericho, Syosset, Woodbury Partnership of Child Care Council of Nassau County, grew and needed to develop its own identity, Lenore Sylvan, chair, wondered who they could ask to help them design a logo. Syosset resident and council member JoAnn Levine suggested she try Syosset High School and Lenore got immediate assistance there. FULL STORY
