Syosset Youth Football fans were treated to the game of the season as Syosset Pee-Wee Red Team took on the Valley Stream Green Hornets. Although the heaviest of rain came just after the coin toss, field conditions could be described as muddy at best. Syosset's Berkeley Golon and Sean Cerrone were able to recover two Valley Steam fumbles but Syosset could not score. The Syosset High School Roller Hockey Club, last year's Islandwide High School Roller Hockey Champions, started the 2003-2004 season the same way they ended last season, winning big. They had two convincing victories this past weekend. They started their season with a convincing 6 - 1 victory over Calhoun and followed that up with a 9 - 1 victory over Lynbrook High. FULL STORY
