Albina "Binnie" McCullough, of Syosset, died on June 17, 2003. Beloved wife of Robert J. Loving mother of Robert E., Kevin M., Sheila Marie Nelson, Denise Theresa and Brian John. Dear sister of Sheila McDonald and Brother Cassian Michael Kelleher, FSC.

Albina McCullough devoted her entire life to loving and helping people - her husband, her children, students in her religious education classes at St. Edward's and special education students in the NYC and LI public schools. Binnie graduated from the College of Mount St. Vincent in 1951, obtained an MA in 1955 from Hunter College and an MS in special education from C.W. Post College in 1982.

Binnie began her teaching career in 1952 in the Lindenhurst public schools, taught in the Deer Park schools and in 1985 she was appointed to teach special education classes in Aviation High School in NYC. From 1962 to 1977 Binnie shared her religion at St. Edward's CCD program and was awarded the Pius X Medal from the late Bishop McCann.

Arrangements were made by the Beney Funeral Home, Syosset. Funeral Mass at St. Edward Confessor RC Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Edward's Pantry.
