Mary Genevieve Helgesson Roccanova, 70, died April 2, 2003 at her home in Salisbury. Born in Queens, she was the daughter of the late George and Katherine O'Shea Helgesson. Her husband of 48 years, Peer F. Roccanova, preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Roccanova and her husband, formerly of Syosset, retired to Maryland in 1994. She was a member of St Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She is survived by four children, Catherine J. Cavanagh (Kevin) of Katy, TX, Steven P Roccanova of Springfield, MA, Karen M. Schank (Charles) of Medford and Mary Ann Taylor (Eric) of Exmore, VA; four grandchildren, Brian and Christopher Cavanagh and Amanda and Kyle Schank; a sister-in-law Constance Kerwick; three nieces and one nephew.
