Mr. Delott has raised a number of insightful issues that the community and the Fire Commissioners must discuss openly. The problems that have arisen with respect to the new firehouse are a result of the failure of the Fire Commissioners to directly, responsibly and openly discuss the important issues surrounding the need for the proposed new firehouse with the community that they serve and to whom they are responsible. This has nothing to do with continued community support for the firefighters, EMTs and others who serve the community.
