The Jericho Athletic Association and the Jericho Jets recently announced the Jericho Fall Track and Field Classic for Sunday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jericho High School Track. This event is open to all Jericho students grades one through nine.

Run and jump against your friends and classmates. Form a relay team and find out how fast you are. The events will be 100 meter dash; 400 meters; 1500 meters; 4x100 meter relay; long jump; high jump; 6 lb and 8 lb shot put. There is no fee to participate.

The age groups will be grades 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9. There will also be medals presented for first, second and third places.

As a special event, there will be a Family 4x100 Meter Relay. Teams must consist of at least 1 parent (or grandparent) and 2 or 3 children (4 team members)
