During Labor Day weekend, the Syosset Flames finished the Oceanside Tournament with a second place finish. The Flames were undefeated, they scored 10 goals and only let up two goals. The Flames played three shut-out games. They handily beat the team that came in first place. Even though they have done well in regular league play, they have not had a first or second place finish in a tournament in two years. A big hearty welcome to Andy, Brian and Matthew. It is great to have you and your parents on the team.

In summary, an outstanding performance was turned in by Michael Marra, John Murphy, Matthew Franklin, Graig Tortorella, Cory Lebowitz, Zachary Herman, Jeffrey Dorfman, Andy Giron, Jason Raskin, Jason Densky, Michael Scordo, Andrew Gurmann, Matthew Barrett, Adam Kietz, Anthony Lezaja and Brian Romero. Michael Barbour and Andy Dottino were missed. Thanks to coaches Bill, Jim and Joe for their time, effort and guidance.
