Mr. Waldman is entitled to his opinion [referring to Raise Speed Limit to Cut Down on Speeding - July 19, 2002] He is also entitled to a ticket for breaking the law. Those of us who feel no compelling urgency or impatience to arrive at our destination a few moments sooner or to beat our neighbor to the next light, may actually welcome lower speed limits to foster a more relaxed, and in my mind, safer community.
