Burglaries Still Plague East Birchwood
Last summer, residents in the East Birchwood section of Jericho were hit with a string of burglaries and within the past month the incidents have started up again. According to police officers in the second precinct, there was one reported burglary in April, one in May and the most recent one took place on June 2, all in the East Birchwood area.

Jericho Fire Department Plans to Build New Fire House
The Jericho Fire District, which is currently headquartered on Route 106/107 across from the CVS Shopping Center, submitted a site plan in October 2001 to the Town of Oyster Bay Department of Planning and Development to construct a new fire department across the street from the current location.

'Peanut Division' Added to No Limit Boys' Lacrosse Camp
Long Island Lizard All-star John Gagliardi and his partner Paul Carcaterra announced that, due to popular demand, a "Peanut Division" has been added to their fourth annual No Limit Lacrosse Camp this summer at Green Vale School.
