Rick Frishman, a resident of Jericho, recently co-authored a book entitled Guerrilla Publicity: Hundreds of Sure-Fire Tactics to Get Maximum Sales for Minimum Dollars along with Jay Conrad Levinson and Jill Lublin. The book is available in bookstores now.
Goldilocks Case Teaches More than Law
Cantiague Elementary School fifth graders participated in a mock trial at the Nassau County Supreme Court last Monday. In a case called 'The State of New York vs. Goldilocks', students assumed the roles of witnesses, prosecutors and defendants under Judge Kenneth S. Diamond, supervising judge of the Nassau County Family Court.
Last Registration June 15 for Syosset Youth Football and Cheerleading
The last registration session for the Syosset Youth Football and Cheerleading League will be held at Syosset's Community Park on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset on June 15 from 10 a.m. - noon.
Jericho Comets to Hold Tryouts
The Jericho Comets Girls U-12 (Fall 2002) Travel Soccer Team will be having a tryout for girls born after August 1, 1990 interested in playing Travel Soccer in Fall 2002. The tryout will be held on Sunday, July 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Seaman Elementary School and will be open to all towns. Please bring a soccer ball, water bottle, soccer cleats and shin guards.
