Jericho Graduate Publishes Children's Book
Phil Bildner, a graduate of Jericho High School, recently had his first children's book published - Shoeless Joe and Black Betsy. The book, which is aimed toward 5-8 year olds, is a fictional story of the baseball legend Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Jericho Junior Selected for Leadership Conference
Josh Brenner, a junior at Jericho High School, was recently selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) on Business and Technology, a leadership development program for outstanding high school students. While attending the NSLC, Brenner will have the opportunity to study, experience and develop skills and traits that define and identify a leader.

Long Island Figure Skater Selected for International Competition
Long Island figure skater Chloé Katz was selected to represent the United States in the prestigious 2002 Copenhagen Trophy figure skating competition held on March 1-3. Hosted by the Danish Skating Union, the competition is sanctioned by the International Skating Union. The ISU is the international governing body for figure skating with 55 member nations participating.
