Frances S. Walker (nee Riani), of Syosset, died on Dec. 17, 2001. Born in Keeseville, NY, she was a graduate of NYSCT, Albany. She taught at the Homer Academy in Homer, NY. She received her MS in library science at LIU, C.W. Post. She then served as an art and reference librarian at the Jericho Library until 1983.
