North Shore Synagogue Holds Forum on Terrorism
The American Jewish Committee, in cooperation with North Shore Synagogue of Syosset, recently presented a forum entitled "A New Kind of War: Are we prepared to respond to terrorism?" at the North Shore Synagogue in Syosset. The purpose was to educate residents of Nassau County on the County's ability to respond to all types of terrorist threats.

Brookville Resident Publicly Reacts to Sept. 11 Attacks
Alison Warren has been in front of an audience many times, but her most recent appearance was the most meaningful. The Brookville resident was a guest on the Sally Jesse Raphael talk show discussing the events of Sept. 11 and how they affected her, a representative of the Long Island teen population.

Marjam Wins Battle of Blues
The royal blue jerseys of Marjam Supply Co. bested the dark blue of Andrew Marc, coming back to win 5-4 at Seaman School on Nov. 11. Lenore Shimon and Tanya Shimon got first-half goals for Marjam in the Jericho Athletic Association fourth and fifth grade girls intramural soccer game. Danielle Schwartz's pair of goals knotted the score 2-2 at halftime.
