For the third year in a row, fourth-and fifth-grade students from the Robert Seaman School in Jericho medaled in the NFL sponsored Punt, Pass and Kick competition. Seaman physical education teachers Patrick Smith and Rita Bacher invited interested students to compete for the honor of representing their school at this year's competition.

Selected entrants were fourth-graders Jared Lyons and Sydney Werber and fifth graders William Surowiec and Lindsey Dubb. After earning a second place finish last year, Dubb was successful once again with a third place finish and a bronze medal. Also medaling with impressive third place showings were first-time entrants Jared Lyons and Sydney Werber. It was a great day for all of those who competed as the children proved once again that Robert Seaman students have the "mettle" to medal.
