Traveling Town Hall Comes to Town of Oyster Bay
Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto announced the creation of the Traveling Town Hall in March and the mobile facility, that has the ability to bring information and assistance directly to residents in their home communities, began making stops at preset destinations throughout the Town of Oyster Bay last week.

Jericho Sixth-Grade Boys Baseball
The Gaines Berland A's defeated the Body Worx Yankees on opening day of the Jericho Sixth-Grade Boys Baseball League by the score of 19-5. David Ackerman went the distance for the Gaines Berland A's and pitched brilliantly, while recording eight strikeouts. Max Rosenberg started for the Body Worx Yankees and also pitched great. Rosenberg was relieved by Josh Besserman, Ben Davis and Anthony Valente, all of whom had solid efforts.

Jericho 3rd & 4th Grade Lacrosse Team Kicks Off 2001 Season
The Jericho 3rd and 4th grade travel lacrosse team has opened its season with a very encouraging start. Although the first three games were losses, the team shows great promise to be highly competitive through the remaining five games.
