Many great things have been accomplished since the Jericho-Syosset-Woodbury Child Care Partnership's inception in 1996 including the child care needs survey, video showing quality child care, Child Care Resource brochure, and participation in the Town of Oyster Bay zoning change for child care constant advocacy for affordable, accessible, quality child care.
These are all a credit to the members of the Partnership who have worked diligently together. These projects might never have been initiated or completed so rapidly without their efforts and support. The new Child Care Resource brochures are to be placed in libraries, schools banks, houses of worship, hospitals, medical offices, Town of Oyster Bay information centers, offices of elected officials, real estate firms, food and retail stores, restaurants and amusement areas, etc. Thank you for listing our future meeting dates and the rescheduled grandparents meeting for April 25, 2001 at 10 a.m. to be held at H.R. Singletons. We will discuss the issues of routines, medical consent forms, fun and loving activities, etc.
