Variety Pre-Schooler's Workshop (VPSW) recently held its official "ground-breaking" ceremony to commence the $3 million renovation and expansion of its Syosset facility. VPSW staff, children and families and board of trustees were joined by Long Island elected officials and other supporters as VPSW founder, president and CEO, Judith S. A reception for the entire soccer team, open to all members of the Jericho School community, will be held in the high school faculty cafeteria at 7:45 p.m. The board of education will acknowledge the team's Nassau B-1 Conference Championship during the fall sports season at the beginning of the 8:15 p.m. meeting.
