He was a past Grand Knight K of C Oyster Bay and a member of American Legion Post #0004 Roosevelt, Oyster Bay. Husband of Florence. Craine, of Albertson, died on Oct. 30, 2000. She was a teacher in the Syosset School District for 18 years, the Rolling Hills Country Day School for eight years, a member of St. Aidan's Rosary and Altar Societies, Mother's Club of Port Washington, Music Study Club, several community orchestras as a violinist and a member of the Albertson Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Wife of the late John. Mother of John, Dennis, Robert Craine and Mary Alice Smith. Grandmother of 16. Great-grandmother of nine.
