Eleanor L. Vernic, of Syosset, died on Sept. 1, 2000. She was a retired teacher from Simpson Junior High School, S. Huntington School District. Wife of Frederick C. Sr. and the late John S. O'Brien. Mother of Colleen, John, Claudia, Fred and the late Paul. Grandmother of six. Sister of William P. Kaas. Arrangements were made by the Brueggemann Funeral Home, E. Northport.
