    Heather Rabinowicz, a sophomore at Lafayette College and a 1998 graduate of Syosset High School, is the coordinator of Lafayette College's AIDS volunteers - a group which travels to surrounding areas in Pennsylvania to teach students about AIDS prevention. FULL STORY

    It is that time again football fans! The new board of directors of Syosset Youth Football would like to invite you to join another great year of Braves football. Syosset Youth Football is a member of the Nassau/Suffolk Football League. Registration for the upcoming 2000 football season will be held at Syosset High School (South Woods Road) in the main high school gym on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. - noon; on Tuesday, May 9 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Monday, May 15 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Wednesday, May 24 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Friday, June 9 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Thursday, June 15 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. - noon.
