    Since Jeff Witt, a resident of Jericho, was 13 years old, he has wanted to have a bar mitzvah, but, he said, the thought of being in front of a crowd had intimidated him. At the age of 52, Witt's dream finally came true thanks to Rabbi Anchelle Perl, who is the executive director of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education.
