All registered Syosset Little League players who wish to play on a "Major League" team this spring must attend a tryout to qualify for play this coming spring.

Who Should Attend: All players who will be at least 11 years old by Aug. 1, and who did not play on a Major League Team during the 1998 baseball season. Boys who played on Minor League teams last spring and qualify by age must attend if they desire to play on a Major League team this spring.

Tryout dates, times: Saturday, Jan. 30 - 3 to 5 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 6 - 3 to 5 p.m.

Tryout location: Casey Center Gymnasium at the Saint Mary's Children and Family Services Center located on Convent Road, Syosset. Players should bring their baseball glove and wear sneakers.
