On behalf of the veterans, I would like to thank the Syosset Volunteer Fire Department for all the work they did at the Memorial Park. The men who worked on their own time installed a new walkway, seeded and did an extensive cleanup at the site. This work went on for several days.

Their efforts on behalf of us all exemplify community spirit. For this we congratulate and thank them.
