In hoping to allow more children of the community an opportunity to continue to play soccer, the Syosset Soccer Club will be offering a new Senior Division for the fall of 1998 and the spring of 1999 that will consist of both fourth and fifth grade children. This new division will be an intramural program with games to be played at Stillwell Fields. All children that are currently playing in the intermediate (third and fourth grade) program now can still play soccer without being on a travel soccer team. The upcoming third grade children will play as third grade only.
The program is new and will need sufficient registration to maintain the integrity consistent with the current intermediate program. Everyone in the intermediate program is encouraged to register during the club's normal registration period in May. If not enough children register, the club will revert back to the current program and refund registration as appropriate.
