Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto and Town Clerk Fanny Corsentino recently attended a dedication ceremony at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park. A tree and plaque were dedicated in the memory of Dorothy Lukacovic, a beloved teacher with the Pre-K program at the town's park for over two decades.

The parents of her many students donated the plaque, and the Town planted a weeping cherry tree, so that her dedication and kindness may be forever remembered.
