4th Grade Boys Travel - St. Paul Whips Wiz

The St. Paul fourth grade boys basketball travel team defeated the Valley Stream Wiz 38-24 on Sunday, Nov. 23 at Long Island Lutheran High School. Jonathon Stellar, Benji Rabinowitz and Seth Bergman led St. Paul in scoring. Doug Paolillo, Brian Katz, Matt Checkla and Peter Matropietro also contributed as St. Paul improved its record in the Chase Super League to 4-2.

The much heralded St. Paul Basketball Instructional Clinic ended on Sunday in the high school's gym with fun and games. Contest winners Russell Taff, Max Landow, Austin Landow, Andrew Amato and Ashley Fern displayed some of the skills they learned during the seven-week clinic they attended. Clinic II at LUHI will be held on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. for girls and boys up to grade two, on the following dates: Dec. 7 and 21, and Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25. The awards ceremony takes place on Jan. 25.
