Nassau County Doubles Tennis Champions

The Roslyn High School Tennis Doubles Team of Paige Mintz and Melissa Edelblum became Nassau County Champion winners on Oct. 11 in a competition that garnered Roslyn High School its first doubles title in team history.  

Coach Victoria Schnittger decided to pair the two, her best singles players, for the championships.   Paige and Melissa had to battle it out with third-seeded Roslyn doubles team Marissa Bernstein and Samantha Richman, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.  

According to Athletic Director Joanna Commander, it was the only loss all season for the doubles team of Marissa and Samantha.  

All four students were All-State and will compete in the New York State Tennis Championships in Syracuse on Nov. 6-9.
