Tokey Hill Takes Karate Nationals by Storm

Tokey Hill Martial Arts of Roslyn qualified a total of 11 athletes to this year’s USA-NKF National Championships in Fort Lauderdale, FL, July 14 - 19, bringing home an impressive stash of five gold and two silver medals.

We haven’t brought this many young athletes to the Nationals in quite a few years so we had no idea how we would fare,” said Christina Muccini, manager and coach.  “Needless to say that we are thrilled with the results and inspired to expand our team further for next year and hope to do even better.”

Ms. Muccini is one of six national coaches in the United States and travels internationally to World Level and Pan Am Level events coaching elite athletes from the United States.  She is going to El Salvador in late August to coach approximately 80 juniors from the United States and will travel in November to Morocco to the Junior World Championships to coach United States Athletes.

Tokey Hill Martial Arts teaches many martial arts disciplines and has been established since 1985 in Port Washington.

The Roslyn school is located on Lumber Road and offers classes and private lessons for all ages and levels.
