The Roslyn Marching Bulldogs have just completed an intense and enjoyable week of rehearsals at Camp Taconic in preparation for their upcoming season.
Under the direction of Mr. Pat Patterson, the band worked tirelessly to perfect their new show, The Playdate.
The band is excited to perform the show at their first competition in Brentwood on Sept. 18.
The Marching Bulldogs will also perform at the first Roslyn High School home game on Saturday, Sept. 10.
In recent years, The Marching Bulldogs have emerged as one of the top acts in all of Long Island in the highly competitive field of high school marching bands.
They have performed at venues not only in Long Island, but also out of state. In recent years, for instance, they performed at the world-famous Orange Bowl Parade in Miami, as a prelude to that annual college bowl game.
For 2011, the Marching Bulldogs are looking forward to another winning season.
