The September primary for the Democratic County Executive’s race is fast approaching. There is a lot at stake for Long Island. The county is in a fiscal crisis, our property taxes are among the highest in the nation and our public schools are facing enormous challenges in the wake of Governor Cuomo’s tax cap. It is crucial that our next county executive be equipped to handle these and many other issues that are affecting the quality of life for many Long Islanders.
Adam Haber is not a politician, which is exactly what Nassau County needs. He is a self-made businessman who brings fresh and creative ideas to the table. We need someone who will think outside the box and create jobs for Nassau County.
Additionally, Adam will put an end to political patronage. He is a proponent of campaign finance reform and how political money is disclosed. He wants to restore ordinary Long Islanders as the most important stakeholders in their government.
On September 10, I urge you to go out and vote for Adam Haber to keep our county prosperous and working for the middle class, not special interest groups.
