Roslyn’s newly formed Chamber of Commerce met for the third time on Dec. 15. The breakfast meeting was held at Cristina’s in the beautiful Roslyn Claremont Hotel with about 20 attendees, almost half of them new. The Claremont’s marketing director, Cindy Young, donated the breakfast to the Chamber.
New potential members introduced themselves and a growing variety of businesses were represented. The “spirit of cooperation” continues to prevail under Lonnie Goldman’s leadership. Initial dues of $50 were suggested. Only paid-up members will be allowed to nominate the Board of Trustees.
Some of the discussions included the planned “Antiques and Crafts Show” slated for the end of May. The goal of the Chamber of Commerce is to “increase Roslyn’s vitality.”
