The East Williston School District's Annual Walk-a-Thon, one held in memory of Brandon Lustig, will be held Sunday, Oct. 19 at The Wheatley School. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Residents are asked to join The Wheatley Key Club and the rest of the community for a day of fun as they walk to honor Brandon Lustig and to raise money for the five following charities: Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, United Cerebral Palsy's Children's Learning Center, Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County, Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center, and The Salvation Army.

Those who cannot attend are asked to mail a check to the charity of your choice to Wheatley.

The Wheatley School is located at 11 Bacon Rd., Old Westbury.
