The Roslyn Rotary seeks the community's help in making its dream of a year round recreational facility for special needs children and young adults come true.

The planned recreational facility.
The Rotary will be having a community yard sale on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be setting up in the First National Bank of LI parking lot at 130 Mineola Ave. & Villa St, Roslyn Heights. They will be selling tools, jewelry, china, and crystal.

Rotary District 7250 Foundation & the Anchor Program have joined forces to build a 13,500 sq ft facility on Lido Beach. The building would house a gym, a stage, a kitchen and dining area, a computer room, handicapped accessible toilets, several general purpose rooms, and a nurses station. It is estimated that $1.5 million is still needed to complete the construction.

Attend the yard sale on Sept. 14 or make a tax deductible contribution to the Rotary District 7250 Foundation and mail to P.O. Box 27, Roslyn. For additional info, call Frieda O'Mara at 621-1900.
