The YMCA of Glen Cove has been offering a martial arts program for nearly a decade with great success in a safe environment for adults and children to learn and train in the martial arts.

Sensei Victor has been teaching the martial arts for more than 15 years and he believes his program instills confidence, enhances discipline and heightens the ability to focus and concentrate.

It's also a great way to exercise and get in shape. Adult and older teen classes are offered twice a week and children's classes are once a week. This year, the Y is also offering a Tai Chi/Qi Gong class on Tuesday evenings. This quality program will run year-round and registration is always open for the karate class. For more information call 671-8270 stop by the YMCA and try a class.
