Sterling Glen of Roslyn is inviting the public to join in a month of music and mirth, marked by a series of free concerts and events:

* Sun., Jan. 6 - International songster Mr. Jacques will perform romantic songs from around the world, beginning at 2 p.m.

* Sun., Jan. 13 - Long-Term Care Planning will be the topic of a workshop presented by Sam Miller of John Hancock Financial Services. Topics to be discussed will include: The costs of care; The odds of needing care; Who pays for the care (Medicare? Medicaid? Medical Insurance? Veterans Benefits? Personal Assets?); and what a good quality Long-Term Care policy can do for you. The workshop begins at 11 a.m.

* Sun., Jan. 13 - The beautiful and talented Karkowska Sisters, a violin and piano duo who have performed to great acclaim at some of the most prestigious venues in the United States and Europe, will present international music favorites at 2 p.m.

* Sun., Jan. 27 - The Cherub Improv comedy group will present a comedy improv workshop, which will include games and short skits, at 2 p.m.

Sterling Glen of Roslyn, located at 100 Landing Road, regularly hosts social, cultural and educational programs for residents and the public. Anyone interested in learning more about upcoming events can call 626-6900.
