We write this letter in support of the candidacy of Cathy Samuels for election to the East Williston School Board of Education. We have lived in Old Westbury for over 25 years. Our two sons, now grown, attended the district's schools and are graduates of Wheatley High School. We very much understand the issues confronting our school district and area.

We have known Cathy for over 15 years. She would make a fantastic school board member, as her business experience, organizational and community leadership skills will ensure our schools' continued educational excellence and the future of our district. Cathy will work hard to maintain the quality of education that makes our school district great. We are confident Cathy will endeavor to effectively use our tax dollars and avoid wasteful spending so that everyone will be able to afford and remain in the district. She is very passionate and caring about the education, safety and security of our children.

Cathy's corporate experience, drive and enthusiasm bring a wealth of real world expectations to the district. She will be a valuable contributor to our district's future. We wholeheartedly support Cathy Samuels without reservation.
