Sterling Glen Open House Jan. 20
Sterling Glen of Roslyn, the first residential development to be built in Roslyn in some time, is set to open early this year. In the meantime, Sterling Glen is holding another "Get to Know Us" open house, one set for Saturday, Jan. 20, at both 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Girls Basketball Looks To Surprise
Veteran girls basketball coach Denise Zunno has a tall order on her hands. With only two returning starters and a freshman point guard, the Lady Mustangs will no doubt be battling more experienced teams throughout the 2006-2007 season. Preaching teamwork and maintaining a high level of confidence will be keys to success. Zunno and assistant Katherine Hock will be perfect complements to a season with a solitary goal of becoming better by season's end than the group that took the floor in pre-season workouts.

Congratulations to East Williston Bears
Congratulations to the East Williston Bears, Division B, NFL Long Island Flag Football 2006 Superbowl champions. The team was coached by James Igoe, Donald Hogg and Robert Vella, who did not have it easy. The team ended the season on a 1-5 note.
