Samantha Blair Unger, a 2006 graduate of Roslyn High School, was awarded the Kwik Goal -Andy Caruso Scholarship by the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) Scholarship Committee.

Samantha is a leader in the Roslyn community academically, and athletically and is currently attending Muhlenberg College. In addition to playing Varsity Soccer at Roslyn High School, Samantha played at the club level for the Garden City Park Soccer Club and the Albertson Soccer Club.

The LIJSL Scholarship committee presents 19 scholarships each year to the finest student athletes on Long Island. The League was established in 1966 as a non-profit, educational organization and is one of the largest youth soccer leagues in the United States, with over 95 member clubs representing approximately 70,000 players on Long Island and in Queens.
