I would like to publicly thank Officer Allen of the Sixth Precinct for rescuing "Precious," the abandoned cat we adopted, who was locked in a neighbor's garage for three days without food or water.
We didn't know where he was, whether alive or dead, until his pal, a feral cat pointed the way. My neighbor was not home.
Officer Allen who heard "meow" from behind the garage door miraculously found a way to allow the cat's exit without any damage to the garage door.
Thanks also to my neighbors who offered their help.
After three days without food or water, Precious is alive and well and very hungry. In this season of miracles a small miracle did indeed occur. Thank you.
