This past Friday evening, Nov. 3, sometime between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., the newly installed, engraved Strathmore at East Hills signs were maliciously vandalized.

It appears as if they were cut in half either by mechanical means or by kicking. Both the police and the East Hills security force have been notified and have alerted their patrols.

These signs were the pride of a reinvigorated civic association and community. Residents are deeply disturbed by this callous and purposeful violation.

We are offering a reward for any information leading to the perpetrators.

Judi Winters, President, Strathmore at East Hills Civic Association
