Last Saturday, the Roslyn High School Bulldogs got their offense untracked, allowing them to score a solid 21-7 victory over Jericho.
Adam Kaplan led the way, scoring two touchdowns and rushing for 91 yards.
Both of Kaplan's touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, when Roslyn broke a 7-7 tie. The first score was a two-yard run that came with 8 minutes left in the contest.
His second score iced the contest, coming from 15 yards out and with only 2:21 left in the game.
Quarterback Jonathan Combs was Roslyn's other star on offense. Down 7-0 at halftime, Combs scored a one-yard touchdown run on the Bulldogs' first possession of the second half.
On defense, Matt Liebhaber and Luke Song kept the Jericho offense at bay, making respectively, 11 and eight tackles each.
