Anna DeCecilio, of Roslyn, died on Aug. 15, 2006 at the remarkable age of 102. Mother of Frances Todesco (Peter). Grandmother of Frank, Philip and Margaret Dayre (Bob). Thompson, of Albertson, died on Sept. 9, 2006. He was a NYC fireman for over 20 years. He was a life member of Albertson VFW Post #5253, former vice president of the Albertson Republican Club and water commissioner of Albertson for over 30 years. Husband of Bernice. Father of Kathy Dempsey (Jack), Arthur Thompson (Monica), Bonny Chrystal (Jim), Mary Ellen Schabel (Tom) and Jim Thompson (Rhonda). Grandfather of four.
