Walter Kessler, of Albertson, died on Aug. 12, 2006. A WWII US Navy veteran, he was a retired volunteer of the Albertson Fire Company and a volunteer at the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Husband of Josephine. Father of Bill Kessler and JoAnn Kenny. Grandfather of three. Great-grandfather of one. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Catholic prayer service at the funeral home. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
